Brampton, a suburban city in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the seat of Peel Region. The city was once known as "The Flower Town of Canada", a title based on its large greenhouse industry. Today, Brampton's major economic sectors include advanced manufacturing, retail administration and logistics, information and communication technologies, food and beverage, life sciences and business services. The city continues to develop its downtown core and the suburban and industrial area, for the past few decades and continues to, as of today.
